Elektriske kræfter nok til Guinness Book of Records

En slæbebåd af typen RSD-E Tug 2513 fra det hollandske Damen værft kan nu prale med at være verdens stærkeste fuldt elektriske.

Et pæletræk på 78,2 tons var nok til at sikre den elektriske slæbebåd Bu Tinah en Guinness World Record.

Slæbebåden, som Damen leverede til SAFEEN Group tidligere i år, er den første fuldt elektriske slæbebåd, der opererer i Mellemøsten. Den rekordsættende præstation fandt sted i Khalifa Port, der er AD Ports Group’s flagskibsfacilitet, og blev annonceret under ADIPEC-konferencen tidligere i november.

RSD-E Tug 2513 er designet med et stærkt fokus på bæredygtighed. Med nul emissioner spiller fartøjet en betydelig rolle i at reducere udledninger.
