Maersk sikrer sig stor ny kontrakt

Abu Dhabi's Emirates Global Aluminium - EGA - har forlænget sin kontrakt med Maersk, så den nu dækker hele 2019. EGA står for mere end 11.000 transporter hvert år, svarende til mere end 100.000 containere

EGA, der er ligelig ejet af Mubadala Investment Company og the Investment Corporation of Dubai, samarbejder med 20 rederier, men Maersk har siden 1992 været en af de største partnere.

”At opfylde vore kunders forventninger afhænger både af kvaliteten af vores produkter, og evnen til at få dem frem til kunderne. Derfor er jeg glad for at indgå denne aftale med en af vores vigtigste shippingpartnere”, siger Walid Al Attar, chief marketing officer, EGA.

”Som global container distributør sikrer denne kontrakt, at vi også fremover kan arbejde tæt sammen med EGA om, at deres aluminium når hurtigt og omkostnings-effektivt frem til deres kunder”, siger Christopher Cook, administrerende direktør for Maersk i UAE, Oman og Qatar.
