APM Terminals overskud på 2 mia. kr.

APM Terminals fik i 1. halvår et overskud på 2. milliarder kroner, mod et overskud på 2,2 milliarder kroner i 1. halvår 2011. I 2. kvartal fik selskabet et overskud på 1 milliard kroner, mod et overskud på 929 millioner kroner i 2. kvartal 2012.

Det globale marked for containerterminaler målt i TEU steg med 4 procent i løbet af andet kvartal, og er vokset med 3 procent i første halvår. Antallet af containere, som APM Terminals håndterede (antal kranløft justeret for APM Terminals’ ejerandel), var uændret på 9,1 mio. TEU i forhold til andet kvartal 2012.

Mængder fra kunder uden for Gruppen steg med 7 procent i første halvdel af 2013 til 50 procent , i forhold til 47 procent i samme periode sidste år.

Omsætningen steg med 1,9 procent primært som følge af en højere byggeomsætning på vegne af visse koncessionsgivere, hvilket også reducerede EBITDA-marginen. Resultatet fra associerede virksomheder og joint ventures, der primært er placeret i markeder med høj vækst, steg markant i forhold til sidste år.
