Vietnamesisk værft fyrer 14.000 mand

Den vietnamesiske regering har planer om at oprette et nyt værftsholdingselskab, da omstruktureringen af det statslige skibsværft Vinashin trækker ud. Det koster 14.000 mand jobbet. Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Corporation vil blive etableret i denne måned, ifølge transportminister Dinh La Thang.

”Omstruktureringen af Vinashin er gået langsomt og er kommet i vanskeligheder på grund af mangel på finansiering, dårlig taktik og et dystret marked for skibsfart”, siger transportministeriet.

Vinashin værftet vil frem til udgangen af juli afskedige 14.000 af de over 26.200 ansatte og kun beholde 8.000. Det er ikke oplyst, hvad der skal ske med de øvrige godt 4.200 mand.

Ministeriet har færdiggjort at aftaleudkast om driften og den registrerede kapital, som en del af bestræbelserne på at sætte skub i udviklingen af industrien.

Den gældstyngede gruppe, der midt i 2010 havde 70.000 ansatte, har omstruktureret 43 enheder, herunder solgt 26 filialer, og nedlagt 14 og overført yderligere tre afdelinger til andre statsejede virksomheder.
