Senior Operations Manager - Danbulk A/S

Join the newly established Danbulk A/S and help provide exceptional service to a diverse client portfolio operating in the dry bulk segment. This is an outstanding opportunity to play a key role in shaping the operations, procedures and culture in an enthusiastic and growing organisation.

On behalf of Danbulk, MARPRO Group is recruiting a Senior Operations Manager who will report directly to the CEO of the company. Danbulk is based in welcoming offices in the centre of Hellerup.

The organisation currently consists of a small, close-knit team of six employees. You will be an essential member of the operations department.

The job

We are looking for an experienced operator who is confident in international setting and proud of ensuring seamless operations from A to Z. You should thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoy tackling changing challenges driven by global events.

This is a broad, hands-on role where you will plan, execute and optimise voyages, coordinate with stakeholders and help refine operational standards across the business. The flat structure empowers you to take full ownership and responsibility for refining processes, implement solutions and securing stronger results across the business.

Professional qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in dry bulk operations
• An in-depth knowledge of the rules and regulations governing ship operation in 2026
• Fluent in English – both written and spoken
• Danish residency/work permit required

• Team-player with a proactive, analytical and solution-oriented approach, with proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong commercial awareness
• Organised and detail-oriented
• Comfortable handling multiple demands and maintaining performance under pressure.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
