Falck Nutec on its way to the Middle East
MARITIME INDUSTRY: Falck Nutec, which organises rescue- and safety courses for the offshore sector, is now on its way to the Middle East. Falck Nutec already has more than 20 training centres all over the world.
Falck Nutec has just signed its first contract with the Middle East and will soon be opening a training centre in Abu Dhabi.
"It is important for us to enter all markets. This is our first activity in the Middle East and we have been greeted warmly", says Falck's CEO Allan Sogaard Larsen to Ritzau.
Several competing companies participated in the fight for the contract, and to Falck, the opening to the Middle East is very important.
"It is the first step to other opportunities in the Middle East, for example Qatar and the other Emirates. Moreover, there is a possibility of entering the ambulance- and fire area of business", says Allan Sogaard Larsen.
Falck expects, that 20.000 drilling employees and other participants will be learning about safety at the new training facility every year.
