Falck Nutec aims for continued growth
MARITIME SERVICE: Times of crisis or not, Falck Nutec in Esbjerg expects continued growth again this year. But the growth will not reach the 33 percent increase they saw last year. Eight out of ten DKK is earned on education courses for the offshore sector.
"We drew up the budget so late last year, that we had time to see the tendencies and aimed our ambitions accordingly. We will not make the 33 percent turnover increase we saw last year, but the aim is growth", says head of Falck Nutec in Esbjerg, Poul Victor Jensen to jv.dk.
Four million DKK has been used on the interior of teaching rooms and on buying boats for a boat training centre on Esbjerg's old herring quay, and as soon as the district plan is pulled through, Falck Nutec will establish a 24 meter tall windmill for height training for the mill industry.
"We want our courses in emergency management sold more widely. We have not yet been out addressing even a fraction on the Danish production companies, who could benefit from knowing how to manage emergency situations. In fact, it is a course that all workplaces could use, but we will begin with the most obvious such as concrete article factories and the chemical- and cooling industry," says Poul Victor Jensen to the newspaper.
