DSME fortsætter med fyringer

Den Sydkoreanske skibsbygger DSME er indstillet på at slippe af med 1.000 ansatte ved hjælp af en frivillig pensionsordning. DSME har bekræftet planer om at skære op til 3.000 arbejdspladser væk i år i sine bestræbelser på at bedre den finansielle situation.

Værftet planlægger at reducere arbejdsstyrken gennem et frivilligt pensioneringsprogram og ved at overføre en del af virksomheden til et nyt selskab. Ifølge Bloomberg håber DSME at nedlægge 1.000 jobs via den frivillige pensionsordning, som medarbejderne kan ansøge om frem til den 21. Oktober.

Der er også planer om, at oprette et separat selskab med 2.000 ansatte, der vil fungere som underleverandør til selskabet.

Det er en del af den omstruktureringsplan, som DSME forelagde kreditorerne tidligere i 2016, at der skal skæres 10.000 medarbejdere væk frem mod 2020.
