Wrist delivers strong growth in Germany
MARITIME SERVICE: Over the last two years, Germany has become one of Wrist Ship Supply’s largest markets. As a result, Wrist has signed a record number of global contracts within Germany over the last two years.
“Our successful operation in Germany serves to highlight the success of Wrist’s approach, not only in Europe but around the world. We have made significant investments to be able to provide the most innovative, professional and technologically advanced global ship supply service”, says Robert Steen Kledal, Managing Director, Wrist Ship Supplies.
Germany is now the fourth largest exporter and fifth largest importer of liner goods by value, behind the US, China, Hong Kong and Japan and Wrist’s German base and global network is proving advantageous for shipowners to capitalise on this growth.
“The progressive attitude of the German shipping market continues to fit very well with Wrist Ship Supply’s approach to embracing innovative working practices, investing in advanced procurement technology and working in partnership with our customers. This ensures that we understand their businesses and can precisely meet their supply needs, whilst also helping them to achieve increased efficiencies in the supply process and ensuring compliance with the latest industry regulations”, says Carston Möller who heads up Wrist Ship Supply’s German operation.
Wrist recently hosted its second annual German customer event, uniting 70 customers to take part in the Wrist Curling Cup in Hamburg, which was won by Hellespont Ship Management.
