Vindmøllevinger for millioner røg i havet

Kraftig blæst i Nordsøen var i weekenden årsag til, at et fragtskib tabte det meste af en ladning møllevinger i Nordsøen. Lørdag returnerede det 103 meter lange fragtskib Elegance til Esbjerg med flere møllevinger hængende ud over skibssiden.

På bunden af Nordsøen ligger der nu for mellem 20 og 25 millioner kroner vindmøllevinger fra Vestas. Fragtskib Elegance, der fredag stævnede ud fra Esbjerg Havn med en last af store møllevinger, vendte sent lørdag aften retur med kun seks tilbage. Det skriver JydskeVestkysten.

Det er Blue Water, der har været agent for skibet under anløbet, og ifølge lederen af Blue Waters skibsmæglerafdeling, Søren Stougaard, Esbjerg, skyldes hele miseren usandsynligt dårligt vejr.

"De sikringer af lasten, der blev udført, består blandt andet i, at man anvender kæder, og kæderne sprang altså på grund af det ekstreme vejr", siger han til avisen.

Elegance var på vej mod Yarimca-Kocaeli i Tyrkiet da møllevingerne røg overbord i det hårde vejr.
