Vestas opgraderer 3MW møller til 4MW

Vestas introducerer fjerde generation af 3MW-platformen siden lanceringen i 2010 og har nu otte turbiner, her iblandt tre nye varianter: V117-4.0 4.2 MW, V136-4.0/4.2 MW og V150-4.0 4.2 MW. V150-4.0/4.2 MW tilbyder den største rotor i sin klasse og giver det højeste udbytte ved lav vind.

”Med dagens meddelelse udbreder Vestas yderligere platformens potentiale og sikrer, at vi tilbyder markedsledende vindenergiløsninger. På baggrund af state of the art teknologi, viser de tre nye optimerede varianter på nominelt 4,0 MW med option på 4,2 MW Vestas 'evne til effektivt at nedbringe omkostningerne og hermed lede branchen gennem ændrede markedsforhold”, siger Anders Vedel, Vestas Chief Technology Officer.

Ved at kombinere branchens højeste tårn på 166 meter med den evolutionære udvikling af en velkendt platform, tilbyder V150-4.0 / 4.2 MW 20 + procent højere gennemsnitsproduktion ved lav vindhastighed, samtidig med at det maksimale lydniveau sænkes ned til 104,9 dBa. Den globale introduktion af V117-4.0 / 4.2 MW udvider 4 MW-platformen til brug under stærke vind- eller tyfon-forhold.

Siden platformen, nu kaldet 4 MW, først blev introduceret med V112-3.0 MW-møllen i 2010, har Vestas installeret mere end 4.000 møller i 34 lande på seks kontinenter.
