To brasilianske FPSO’er kollideret på værft

To FPSO fartøjer kolliderede på i et skibsværft i det sydlige Brasilien i weekenden, da deres fortøjninger ikke kunne holde til presset på grund af meget hård blæst. Hændelsen fandt sted på Brasiliens Honorio Bicalho skibsværft.

Den brasilianske ejer Petrobras vil iværksætte en undersøgelse for at vurdere omfanget af skader på de to FPSO enheder P-58 og P-63.

P-63 FPSO ankom til Brasiliens Port of Rio Grande sidste torsdag, hvor det var meningen at den skulle gennemgå den endelige færdiggørelse, inden fartøjet skulle indlede arbejdet i

Papa-Terra offshore området, som ligger omkring 61 sømil fra kysten ved Rio de Janeiro i det sydlige Campos Basin.

Den første olie forventes leveret fra FPSO’en i

juli 2013, men det er stadig uvist, om kollisionen vil udskyde startdatoen.
