SydKinas første havmøllepark på vej

China Datang Corporation, datterselskab af Fujian Datang International Wind Power Development, vil investere op til seks milliarder yuan, cirka 5,2 milliarder kroner, i en havmøllepark ud for Kinas sydlige kyst. Det bliver den første i området, i henhold til nyhedsmediet DesignBuild Source.

Fujian Datang har allerede afleveret resultaterne af projektets forundersøgelse til China State Energy Bureau med henblik på at få en godkendelse til den foreslåede Liu'ao Hai havmøllepark, der bliver på 300 MW.

Havmølleparkn vil blive placeret ud for kysten af Fujian-provinsen, nær Liu'ao halvøen. Parken kommer til at bestå af møller med en ydelse på tre til fem 5 MW. De vil kunne producere mellem 0,6 og 0,73 terawatt timer elektricitet om året.

Én terawatt time (TWh) er lig med en million MWh.
