Siemens Wind får ordre på 650 mio. EUR

Siemens Energy har modtaget en ordre fra de norske energiselskaber Statoil og Statkraft til Dudgeon Havmøllepark i Storbritannien. Ordren består af 67 styk 6 MW havmøller samt servicekontrakt. Den har en samlet værdi på cirka 650 millioner EUR.

"Vi er stolte af at overbevise flere og flere kunder om fordelene ved vores 6 megawatt-offshore maskine. Med Dudgeon udvider vi vores pipeline af projekter for denne nye mølle. Det giver os mulighed for øge produktionskapaciteten, som er en forudsætning for at nedbringe omkostningerne for offshore vind”, siger Dr. Markus Tacke, CEO for Wind Power Divisionen i Siemens Energy.

Siemens skal producere, levere, installere og servicere 67 Siemens direct drive møller på 6 megawatt hver og udstyret med en 154 meter rotor. Installationen vil starte i begyndelsen af 2017. Den kombinerede værdi, der omfatter en kontrakt på femårig service, er cirka 500 millioner pund - næsten 650 millioner euro.

Dudgeon offshore projektet ligger 32 kilometer nord for byen Cromer i North Norfolk. Dudgeon offshore projektet ejes af Statoil (70 procent) og Statkraft (30 procent). Statoil er den ansvarlige operatør fra anlægsfasens begyndelse.

Med en samlet kapacitet på 402 MW Dudgeon vil levere ren strøm til mere end 410.000 britiske husstande.
