OW Bunker ansatte nægter bedrageri

De ledende medarbejdere i OW Bunkers datterselskab i Singapore, Dynamic Oil Trading, der ifølge virksomheden står bag omfattende bedrageri - nægter sig skyldige. Det mener at OW Bunkers ledelse kendte til forholdene.

DR Nyheders erhvervsanalytiker Thomas Svaneborg siger til TV-Avisen, at de centrale aktører øjensynligt forsøger at placere ansvaret hos hinanden.

”Den påstand om bedrageri og svindel som OW Bunker har kastet i luften, nægter medarbejderen højlydt i dag. Han siger, at han har givet en kunde en måske lidt for stor kredit på 750 millioner kroner, men at det ikke har noget med bedrageri at gøre”, siger Thomas Svaneborg til TV-Avisen

”Medarbejderen tilføjer, at OW Bunkers hovedkontor via sin bank kunne følge med i, at den pågældende kunde har betalt renter af den alt for store gæld han har oparbejdet.”, lyder det videre fra analytikeren.

Medarbejderes udmeldinger står i kontrast til den fondsbørsmeddelelse som OW Bunker udsendte torsdag morgen. Heri heddet det, at bunkerselskabet er ramt af en bedragerisag i selskabets Singapore-afdeling, og at sagen risikerer at koste OW Bunker op til 125 millioner dollar.

OW Bunker, der gik på børsen i foråret, har mere end 600 ansatte fordelt over store dele af verden.
