Maskinmesterskolen København bliver til Teknika

Fra den 1. november 2024 vil Maskinmesterskolen København, der er Danmarks ældste maskinmesterskole og har uddannet maskinmestre siden 1906, skifte navn til Teknika - Copenhagen College of Technology Management and Marine Engineering.

"Vores institution uddanner i dag arbejdskraft til den grønne omstilling, energisektoren, industrien og det maritime erhverv. Det kræver et navn, der favner bredt og afspejler de erhverv, sektorer og kompetencer, som vi uddanner til, herunder især den grønne omstilling”, siger rektor Ulrik Bak Nielsen. 


”Fremadrettet vil uddannelsesinstitutionen også udvide uddannelsesaktiviteterne, tilbyd flere kurser og iværksætte flere forsknings- og udviklingsinitiativer. Derfor er der også behov for et navn, der kan rumme disse ambitioner og være en stærk repræsentant for institutionen”, siger Ulrik Bak Nielsen.
