LM vinger klar til Hitachi-havmøller

LM Wind Power har gennemført installation og test af en 66,5 meter vindmøllevinge, bestilt af Hitachi, Ltd. til havmøller. De nye LM vinger giver nu Hitachi mulighed for at tilbyde deres 5,2 MW vindmølle med en rotorstørrelse på 136 meter.

Vi ser frem til at se de 66,5 meter vinger generere ren, vedvarende energi ved lavere vindhastinheder langs kysten af Japans største ø”, siger LM Wind Powers CEO, Marc de Jong.

LM Wind Power og Hitachi påbegyndte installationen af de 66,5 meter lange møllevinger i 2016 med det formål at optimere Hitachi's 5.2 MW platform til at kunne fungere effektivt også i områder med lavere vindhastigheder.

De 66,5 meter vinger er blevet testet på en vindmølle i Kashima Port Fukashiba Wind Power Station i det østlige Japan siden oktober sidste år. Vingerne blev produceret på LM Wind Power's vingefabrik i Jiangyin, Kina.
