Industry Aligned Maritime Research

The Danish Maritime Fund has asked Vice President Søren Karas , A. P. Møller – Mærsk, and the Danish Academy of Technical Sciences to facilitate a collaborative enquiry of the maritime industry’s needs for management research at CBS.
The main objective of this enquiry is to support CBS in the initiation of an industry aligned strategy integrating all CBS’s maritime activities into “CBS Maritime”.
The work will be headed by a committee consisting of representatives of CBS and the maritime industry.
To secure an accurate reflection of industry needs the work will be structured in three supplementary steps.
1. Industry segment group meetings The committee will conduct group meetings with 6 industry segments.
2. Seminar Based on the 6 meetings, a first outline of industry needs will be presented to you for your improvement by means of workshops and a plenum dialogue.
3. Report All contributions will be compiled in a summarizing report together with recommendations given by the committee.
