Firebenet robot i arbejde på offshore felt

Dens elektroniske øjne kan aflæse manometerværdier, ørerne indsamle akustiske data, og så kan den fjernstyres fra land. Og nok så vigtigt skal den aldrig luftes. Mød de firebenede robothund Spot som Aker BP afprøver på Skarv-feltet i samarbejde med software-selskapet Cognite.

Spot er udviklet af Boston Dynamics, og gennemfører lige nu autonome inspektioner på et produktionsskib på det norske oliefelt Skarv, hvor den indsamler sensordate der overføres direkte til Aker BPs datacenter.

Ønsker operatørerne selv at styre Spot kan det bl.a. ske ved hjælp af et indbygget 350-graders kamera.
