Entertainment Specialist at Go Nordic Cruiseline

We are looking for a hands-on Entertainment Specialist to join our land‑based team in Denmark and Norway, reporting to the Head of Entertainment in Denmark. The role combines development, live operations, and technical execution aboard the vessels Nordic Crown and Nordic Pearl.
You will regularly travel on the Copenhagen–Oslo route as part of the role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Create & Operate Entertainment at the vessels Nordic Crown and Nordic Pearl You will plan, produce and continuously optimize the full entertainment program across:
- Daily onboard entertainment: Live bands, entertainment hosts, troubadours, DJs, magicians, and social games such as The Viking Daughter and Murder Mystery.
- Stand‑alone shows & themed cruises: Concerts, mini‑cruises and genre‑driven events with well‑known Scandinavian acts and specialist producers. (Booking and contract negotiations are excluded).
- Full‑ship festivals: Large‑scale events such as Metal Cruise and Vi Elsker — from pre‑production to execution and debrief. (Booking and contract negotiations are excluded).
Curate the Sound & Atmosphere
- You own the musical and atmospheric identity onboard together with the Head of Entertainment, including:
- Music across all venues (clubs, bars, restaurants, shops and terminals)
- The live music program
- Seasonal concepts
Technical Ownership
- Ensure maintenance, functionality and readiness of all entertainment-related technical equipment, either on your own or through external freelance technicians.
- Operate with Data & Segments
- Adjust programming based on audience profiles, demographics and energy levels.
- Use revenue data, NPS and CSAT to evaluate and improve guest experience.
- Tailor shows to weekday/weekend patterns, seasons and themes.
Collaboration Across Teams
- Marketing: Using entertainment as a sales and branding tool.
- Sales: Integrating events into corporate and partner offerings.
- External partners: Working with independent producers and major Nordic/international agencies.

- Stable, high‑quality entertainment delivered all year.
- Strong guest satisfaction and repeat attendance.
- Entertainment that drives atmosphere, engagement and onboard revenue.
- Productions that run smoothly — even when adjusted last‑minute.
