DONG Energy tildeler CWind ny kontrakt

CWind, en del af Global Marine Group, er blevet tildelt en kontrakt af DONG Energy på at installere nye og udskifte eksisterende porte på overgangsstykkerne (TP) på Gode Wind og Borkum Riffgrund havmølleparkerner i den tyske Nordsø.

”Vi har arbejdet sammen med DONG Energy i mange år, herunder omfattende forudgående arbejde i Gode Wind, og vi er glade for at fortsætte vores tætte forretningsforhold. Beslutningen om at benytte det samme team til det nye projekt for at sikre konsistens er blevet godt modtaget af kunden.”, siger Lee Andrews, administrerende direktør for CWind.

CWind vil bruge sine egne besætningsoverførselsfartøjer, udstyr og ingeniører. CWind Phantom, en 27,4m katamaran, skal arbejde på Gode Winds 97og Borkum Riffgrunds 77 turbiner. Arbejdet begyndte den 1. september 2017, hvor den første fase forventes afsluttet i otte uger.

Hele projektet er planlagt til færdiggørelse inden for et år og vil kalde give arbejde til otte af CWinds elektroingeniører og mekaniske teknikere.
