DBB bestiller Service Jack Up Vessel

Aarhus rederiet Dansk Bjærgning & Bugsering har kontraheret et Wind Turbine Service Jack Up Vessel (WTSJUV) på det tyske Nordic Yards. Det nye skib, der kan operere på vanddybder på op til 45 meter, leveres fra værft i foråret 2014.

Skibets store kran gør det sammen med benene muligt at servicere havvindmøller med en højde helt op til 100 meter. Skibet bliver 80 meter langt og 32 meter bredt.

Nordic Yards venter, at det vil tage et år at bygge det avancerede skib. Produktionen starter næste år på værfterne i Rostock, Warnemünde og Wismar.
