Bunker One udvider i Caribien

Den danske bunkergigant, Bunker One, har etableret sig med fysisk tilstedeværelse på St. Croix og bliver dermed den førende uafhænige leverandør af bunkerolie i Caribien, oplyser selskabet.

St. Croix bliver med den snarlige åbning af et nyt raffinaderi en central caribisk hub, der er strategisk velplaceret i forhold til de store skibsruter for USA´s im- og eksport af råolie.

“Jeg er meget stolt over, at Bunker One er blevet valgt som den vigtige fysiske leveradør, da det passer perfekt med vores øvrige ekspansionsplaner i Caribien,” siger Peter Zachariassen, der er CEO i Bunker One.

Selskabet har erhvervet bunker-tankeren MT Desna Star på 12.551 dwt. specielt til den nye destination.
