25 procent flere krydstogtgæster besøgte Grønland

Sidste år besøgte mere end 95.000 krydstogtpassagerer Grønland, en fremgang på lige godt 25 procent i forhold til året før. Det viser nye tal fra Grønlands Statistik, som avisen Sermitsiaq har nærstuderet.

Ifølge avisen er det Nuuk og Sisimiut der har oplevet den største vækst i antallet af krydstogtpassagerer i 2024, med en stigning på henholdsvis 5.582 og 2.657 .

Det er dog fortsat Qaqortoq der er den grønlandske by der blev besøgt af flest krydstogtgæster - 46.630, efterfulgt af Nuuk med 37.242 passagerer, Nanortalik med 28.937 passagerer, Sisimiut  med 14.842 passagerer og Ilulissat på femtepladsen med 14.165 passagerer.

Den største tilbagegang tegnede Paamiut sig for, med en tilbagegang på 8.022 krydstogtgæster og Nanortalik med en tilbagegang på 5.683 passagerer.

Sammenlagt gennemførte krydstogtskibe 204 togter til Grønland i 2024, hvilket ifølge avisen resulterede i 493 anløb.
