Værft afslører værdien af Mærsk ordre

Modsat Mærsk sætter Daewoo Shipbuilding værftet i Sydkorea sætter nu tal på, hvor stor en værdi Maersk Lines bestilling af 16 containerskibe har. Ordren er den største samlede ordre nogensinde

10,9 milliarder kroner. Sådan lyder prismærket på de 16 skibe med en kapacitet på 7450 TEU hver. Skibene er udstyret til at medbringe 1700 kølecontainere hver. Et design der lever op til de højeste standarder for ruterne til og fra Sydamerikas østkyst. Skibene skal leveres i 2010 til 2012.

I juni bestilte Mærsk 18 containerskibe hos Hyundai. Skibene får hver især en kapacitet på 4500 TEU og vil ligeledes blive leveret i 2010 og 2012.
