Tysk skibsfart har finansieringsproblemer

KORT NYT: Den tyske handelsflåde er på vej ind I alvorlige finansieringsproblemer. Det vurderer PricewaterhouseCoopers der har beregnet sig frem til, at mere end 400 tysk ejede skibe vil løbe ind i finansieringsproblemer in løbet af det næste år.

Det er især de mindre tonnageejere og rederier der har svært ved at leve op til deres økonomiske forpligtelser.

Ifølge en rundspørge PwC har gennemført blandt tyske reder, siger 80 procent at de ikke planlægger at kontrahere nye skibe de næste tre til fem år.

Tyskland sidder i dag tungt på containermarkedet, hvor tyske reder ejer omkring hvert tredje containerskib i verden.
