Torm will manage ships for banks
SHIPPING: Running of ships, which banks have taken over from bankrupt shipping companies, can be a new area of business for Danish Torm. This states the CFO of the shipping company Rolan M. Andersen in an interview with Economic Weekly (Okonomisk Ugebrev)
One of the areas in which Torm could grow without increasing capital or debts is by running ship for banks, which have taken over assets from bankrupt shipping companies. The shipping company estimates that there will opportunities in this new area of business already this year.
