Thrane & Thrane reduces expectations
MARITIME INDUSTRY; Thrane & Thrane, which among other thing is primary supplier of maritime satellite communication, had a 3 quarter worse than expected and is now reducing expectations to this year's sales.
In the two greatest areas of business - terminals for land mobile and maritime usage - there was in the 3rd quarter a progress of 31 and 10 percent respectively. The turnover of 3rd quarter was DKK 302 million - 6 percent more than the year before.
The net result of the first nine months was DKK 67 million, compared to a negative result of DKK 36 million for the same period the year before, which were marked by significant costs of restructuring.
A surplus rate of 12-13 percent before restructuring costs is expected for the entire financial year. The turnover is expected to be approx. DKK 1.225 million compared to the previously expected DKK 1.300-1.325 million.
