Shipping milliardær er Norges rigeste mand

Den norske shipping magnat John Frederiksen, som er kendt for at læse shippingmarkedet bedre end de fleste, er ifølge en ny opgørelse ikke kun Norges absolut rigeste mand, han er næsten dobbelt så rig som nummer to på Norges velhaverliste.

Magasinet Kapital opgør John Frederiksens formue til 114 milliarder norske kroner, hvilket er 1 milliard norske kroner mere end sidste år.

Frederiksen er cypriotisk statsborger og bor i London, men han driver fortsat en del af sine omfattende forretningsaktiviteter fra Norge.

John Frederiksen startede fra bunden i branchen som buddreng for skibsmæglerfirmaet Blehr og Tenvig. Siden er det kun gået fremad, dog med nogle store herresving undervejs i karrieren.

Den næst-rigeste nordmand er ifølge opgørelsen shippingmilliardæren Torstein Hagen, der har tjent sine 60 milliarder norske kroner på krydstogtskibe.

På femtepladsen finder man endnu en shippingmagnat, Kjell Inge Rokke.
