SDU-rektor ind i havnebestyrelse

Rektor for Syddansk Universitet, Henrik Dam, ventes snart at blive medlem af bestyrelsen for Odense Havn. Odense Byråd ventes inden længe at give sin formelle godkendelse, og så kan Henrik Dam træde ind i ledelsen af den kommunale selvstyrehavn.

”Udover de personlige kvalifikationer, som Henrik Dam har, ser vi det som en fortræffelig måde at knytte erhvervslivet på havnen tættere til SDU. Det tror vi vil være til glæde for begge parter. I de to afdelinger af havnen, der under ét hedder Lindø Port of Odense, er der flere end 145 virksomheder. Vi vil gerne knytte kloge hoveder og dygtige hænder sammen, så en plus en bliver tre”, siger havnedirektør Carsten Aa.

Formand for Odense Havn er borgmester Anker Boye (S), mens rådmand Jane Jegind (V) er næstformand. Rådmand Per Berga Rasmussen (EL) og Jesper Rasmussen, formand for Lindø Industripark, er bestyrelsesmedlemmer.

Odense Havn er med købet af Lindø Industripark blevet landets tredjestørste havn.
