Rekordomsætning på Aabenraa Havn

Aabenraa Havn fik, med et overskud på 12 millioner kroner, sit hidtil bedste resultat i 2008. Overskuddet er 1,6 millioner kroner større end overskuddet i 2007. Resultatet et pånået på trods af et fald i godsmængden på 12 procent sidste år.

Aabenraa havn blev i 2008 anløbet af 572 skibe - heraf 328 tørlastskibe, 149 tankskibe og 95 Ro-Ro skibe.

Sammenlagt blev der ekspederet 1.800.000 tons gods, en tilbagegang på 248.000 tons - eller 12 procent - i forhold til 2007. Af den samlede godsomsætning stammede de 684.000 tons fra tankfarten.

Skibs- og vareafgifterne tilførte havnen 16,8 millioner kroner, medens der var budgetteret med 16,2 millioner kroner. Den samlede omsætning blev på 29,9 millioner kroner og årets resultat efter afskrivninger og finansielle poster blev på 12,0 millioner kroner mod 10,4 millioner kroner i 2007.
