OPEC sender mere olie på markedet

Organisationen af olieproducerende lande har besluttet at sende mere olie på markedet fra 1. juli. Landene vil producere 1 mio. tønder mere pr. dag, men reelt ventes der kun at blive tale om 600.000 tønder, skriver Finans.

OPEC landene besluttede i dag at åbne lidt mere for hanerne..

Det skyldes, at ikke alle OPEC-lande aktuelt er i stand til at udnytte deres produktionskvote.

OPEC-landenes beslutning kommer efter store diskussioner i gruppen, hvor Iran tidligere afviste ønsket om at hæve produktionen.

De olieproducerende lande skar 1. januar i fjor produktionen ned med knap 2 mio. tønder/dag og det har været medvirkende til at få olieprisen til at galoppere i vejret.

På oliebørserne i London og New York herskede der fredag eftermiddag stor tvivl om den egentlige effekt af beslutningen, der bliver konfirmeret endeligt på et fælles ministermøde lørdag i Wien for alle landene bag produktionsbegrænsningsaftalen, skriver Finans.

Umiddelbart reagerede oliebørserne med en prisstigning på 2,5 pct. til 75 dollar pr. tønde.
