Tankskibesrederiet Terntank i Skagen har købt sit niende tankskib, produkttankeren Ternvind, der lige nu er ved at blive ombygget og opdateret på Fayard. Skibet er et søsterskib til Ternbris.
Skibet er købt brugt af det tyrkiske rederi Marine Unity hvor det sejlede under navnet Sakarya.
Ternvind er på 11.258 DWT og bygget I 2008 på det tyrkiske Daersan Shipyard. Produktankeren har været indregistreret i Malta men skifter nu til dansk flag.

Fransk fregat nedskyder drone ved stort containerskib
Den franske fregat Languedoc nedskød natten til den 1. oktober en drone der udgjorde en trussel med det 23.112 TEU store franske containerskib CMA CGM Champs Elysée, mens containerskibet befandt sig tæt på Bab el-Mandeb-strædet ved indsejlingen til Det Røde Hav.

USA overvejer at lempe sanktioner mod skyggeflåde
Kursen på rederiaktier hagler torsdag morgen ned i Asien som en reaktion på, at den amerikanske regering overvejer at lempe sanktionerne mod visse skyggetankskibe, der tidligere har været anvendt til transport af olie fra blandt andet Rusland, Iran og Venezuela.
