Molslinjen skal have ny topchef

Efter seks år på posten som CEO i Molslinjen forlader Carsten Jensen jobbet til fordel for posten som CEO for EQT´s nyetablerede holdingselskab Nordic Ferry Infrastructure med hovedkvarter i Oslo. Dette selskab vil fremover eje både Molslinjen og norske Torghatten.

At etablere en fælles platform for ejerskabet af Molslinjen og Torghatten blev allerede annonceret, da den svenske infrastrukturfond, EQT, i 2020 købte de to rederier. Og det er den platform, der nu er på plads med holdingselskabet Nordic Ferry Infrastructure

(NFI).

”NFI skal understøtte selskabernes fremtidige udvikling og drift, realisere synergier samt støtte den fortsatte grønne omstilling. Begge selskaber kommer fortsat til at operere som selvstændige enheder”, forklarer Carl Sjølund, ansvarlig partner på EQT Infrastructure i en pressemeddelelse.

Carsten Jensen har været CEO for Molslinjen siden 2016. Arbejdet med at finde hans afløser er igangsat.

”Jeg er stolt af den udvikling, som Molslinjen har været igennem, og jeg er glad for at kunne aflevere et rederi i god form. Nu kan jeg hos NFI være med til at bidrage til den samlede gruppes udvikling”, siger Carsten Jensen.

NFI kommer også til at omfatte rederiet ForSea, når den varslede handel med Molslinjen som forventet af EQT bliver godkendt af konkurrencemyndighederne i første kvartal 2023.

Carsten Jensen tiltræder straks som CEO i Nordic Ferry Infrastructure. Han vil dog i en overgangsperiode stadig have ansvaret for Molslinjen, indtil en ny CEO er på plads.
