Medie: Nordic Shipholding har solgt flåden

Det danske rederi Nordic Shipholding - der har været under afvikling siden august, hvor det oplyste at forsøg på at finde en fusionspartner var endt resultatløse - har ifølge kilder i markedet solgt sine tre sidste skibe. Det skriver Tradewinds.

Ifølge Tradewinds kilder er de to handysize produkttankskibe Nordic Agnetha og Nordic Amy solgt til tyske købere for mellem 11,5 og 12 millioner dollar stykket. De er begge bygget i 2009.

LR1-produkttankeren Nordic Anne, ligeledes bygget i 2009, indbragte angiveligt 13 millioner dollar fra en ikke-kendt køber.

Kilderne betegner priserne som relativt lave.

Nordic Shipholding henholder sig til sin politik om ikke at kommentere rygter i markedet, og har derfor ingen kommentar. Men det er kendt, at alle tre skibe har været til salg siden august.

I oktober overtog formanden for The International Chamber of Shipping, danske Esben Poulsson, formandsposten i Nordic Shipholding. Han efterfulgte den mangeårige bestyrelsesformand Knud Pontoppidan.
