Mærsk på vej ind i havneprojekt i Vietnam

Saigon Port, der er Vietnams største havneoperatør, vil bygge to store havne i provinserne syd for Ho Chi Minh City. Saigon Port har bedt om tilladelse til at lave to nye joint ventures, heraf det ene med danske APM Terminals.

Saigon Port har bedt om tilladelse til at etablere to nye joint ventures, et med APM Terminals og et med PSA. Planen er at bygge to store havne i provinserne Ba Ria og Vung Tau, ca. 125 kilometer syd for Ho Chi Minh City.

Joint venturet med APM Terminals kræver en investering på knap en milliard kroner og ventes at få en kapacitet på 950.000 TEU årligt.
