Mærsk går ikke op i størrelse

Mens resten af verden var benovet over, at Mærsk havde bygget verdens suverænt største containerskib Emma Mærsk, arbejdede rederiets informationsafdeling på at sælge et helt andet budskab internt.

"Vi ville sikre os at de ansatte vidste, at Emma Mærsk var et miljømæssigt avanceret skib med dobbeltskrog og en motor designet til at spare på energien", sagde Jette Clausen, informationschef i A.P. Møller Mærsk på Women's International Shipping and Trading Associations kongres i København.

"Vi ville have, at folk skulle være stolte af det. Og ikke over at skibet var stort. For i morgen er der nogen der bygger et skib der er endnu større", sagde Jette Clausen ifølge Lloyds List.

Jette Clausen fortalte også, at opgaven med at kommunikere budskabet ud til A.P. Møller-Mærsk Gruppens mere end 100.000 ansatte i over 80 lande var så stor, at den umulig kunne løses af informationsafdelingens 10 medarbejdere.

Derfor briefede informationsafdelingen 200 talsmænd, der så bar budskabet videre ud i organisation.
