Lyon: Porcheret pighvar gav sølv

Jeppe Foldager fra Hirtshals er stolt over sejren ved Bocuse d’Or, verdensmesterskaberne for kokke. Sammen med sin assistent Christoffer Brink konkurrerede han med kokke fra 24 forskellige lande. En franskmand fik guldmedaljen.

De havde 5 timer og 35 minutter til at lave en fiskeret med porcheret pighvar og hummer samt oksemørbrad med tilbehør.

“Der var nogle småproblemer, men vi tog det med et smil, og nu er vi lykkelige”, siger Jeppe Foldager ifølge Nordjyske.

Jesper Foldager er uddannet på kokkeskolen i Aalborg og har blandt andet været hofkok på kongeskibet Dannebrog og souschef på Søllerød Kro, en Michelin-restaurant. Trods allerede god erfaring, er sølvmedaljen god at have oveni:

“Den kan jeg bruge til alt, det er bare et spark i den rigtige retning”, siger Jeppe Foldager.
