Kinesiske havne indfører restriktioner

Danmark er blandt de mange lande på de kinesiske myndigheders corona-liste, der må affinde sig med, at skibe fra de pågældende lande skal vente i 14-dage, inden de får lov at lægge til. Restriktionerne omfatter bl.a. de to største havne, Ningbo-Zhoushan og Shanghai.

Kina kan nu fejre, at de for første gang siden de dagligt rapporterede om corona, i dag ikke har registreret nye tilfælde. Men sundhedskrisen har i den grad spredt sig over stort set resten af verden med Europa som et af de hårdest ramte områder.

Og da Kina ikke ønsker at få mulige smittede i land fra udenlandske skibe, indfører de nu en 14-dages karantæne for skibe, der kommer fra havne i Danmark, Storbritannien, Schweiz, Sverige, Belgien, Norge, Holland, Østrig, Sydkorea, Japan, Iran, Italien, Frankrig, Spanien, Tyskland og USA. Listen ventes udvidet i takt med at corona-virussen spreder sig yderligere.

Restriktionerne får ikke på den korte bane den store indflydelse på skibe fra USA og Europa i øjeblikket på grund af den lange rejsetid med mindre de har været omkring f.eks. Sydkorea, men kan med det samme få konsekvenser for den intra-asiatiske skibsfart, skriver Splash.

Flere havne i Kina har er begyndt at tjekke, hvilke havne skibene har anløbet på vej til landet, for på den måde at kunne kategorisere dem i forhold til mulig smitterisici og dermed karantæne.
