Jess Soderberg vice chair of Carlsberg
SHIPPING: The former top manager of A.P. Moller-Maerk Jess Soderberg is back in the top league of Danish business after he on Thursday was elected as new vice chair of the board of Carlsberg.
With the nomination Jess Soderberg recovers from what most of all looked like a firing from A.P. Moller-Maersk the summer of 2007. He had to leave his position to the then CEO of Carlsberg Nils Smedegaard Andersen.
A professor of the Carlberg Fund traditionally occupies the position of chair at Carlsberg, while the vice chair is taken by one of the three businessmen of the board.
