Earlier this week, the container vessel *MSC Marylene III* called at the port for cargo operations. The vessel measures 216 metres in length and has a capacity of approximately 2,500 TEU. The ship arrived from Antwerp on Tuesday March 24 and has now continued its voyage to Riga.
During the port call, close to 350 container lifts were handled by Skagen Stevedore - FF Skagen, who was responsible for loading and unloading operations.
To support the growing activity, Skagen Stevedore - FF Skagen is currently carrying out a significant expansion of their terminal area. In addition to container handling, the terminal also manages bulk cargo operations using its own crane capacity.
The call reflects the increasing level of activity at Port of Skagen and the port’s ability to handle a wide range of cargo operations.
