Helsingborg Havn satser på krydstogtskibe

Helsingborg Havn øger grænsen for, hvor store krydstogtskibe, der kan anløbe havnen. Hidtil har havnen kun kunnet tage imod skibe op til 230 meter lange, men nu er grænsen sat op til 250 meter. De ekstra 20 meter betyder meget.

”Mange rederier vil kunne lægge til kaj, eftersom det bliver enklere at sætte passagerer i land. Vi ser en ny målgruppe, som frem til i dag har valgt Helsingborg fra på grund af, at de ikke har kunnet ligge ved kajen”, siger Andreas Eriksson, informationschef i Helsingborg Havn.

Helsingborg Havn har en målsætning om at have et stabilt niveau på 20-25 krydstogtskibe pr. sæson. Hidtil har det været meget varieret, hvor der nogle år kun har været fem krydstogtskibe og andre år hele 30 anløb. Til sammenligning vil 312 krydstogtskibe i år anløbe Københavns Havn.
