Global Sales Director – Marine Fluid Technology

On behalf of Marine Fluid Technology, MARPRO Group is looking for a Global Sales Director. You will report to the Managing Director of the company.

The job

As a Global Sales Director, you will play a key role in driving and expanding maritime sales globally. Working closely with the team, you will take a hands-on approach to turning opportunities into results, managing the sales pipeline through CRM and staying structured in your approach. Your maritime knowledge and technical expertise will allow you to confidently engage with stakeholders and clients, e.g. Superintendents, Technical managers, Sustainability managers, Procurements or Project Managers, translating their needs into actionable solutions. You will prepare presentations, analyses and reports to support strategic decisions, while exploring new growth opportunities across key markets worldwide. Success comes from combining practical execution with strategic insight, building strong relationships and delivering measurable business growth.

Professional qualifications

• Proven track record in sales, preferably within the maritime or technical sectors and with an established client portfolio.
• Hands-on approach with a strong ability to drive results and close deals independently.
• Experience working with CRM systems (e.g. Pipedrive) and maintaining a structured sales pipeline.
• Strong office skills, including Excel for analysis and PowerPoint for client presentations and reporting.
• Technical maritime knowledge and confidence engaging with stakeholders, clients and key decision-makers.
• Comfortable collaborating with technical experts during client meetings, translating complex solutions into clear business value.

Personal characteristics

• Highly motivated and results-driven, with a hands-on “make things happen” mindset.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, able to build strong relationships across cultures and organizational levels.
• Fluent in English; Danish is a plus.
• Strategic thinker who combines big-picture vision with practical execution.
