Flydende atomkraftværk får ikke brændsel

Det flydende russiske atomkraftværk får alligevel ikke brændsel ombord, når det skal sejle gennem de danske farvande. Planen var ellers, at der skulle foretages testsejladser, inden fartøjet blev slæbt fra værftet i St. Petersburg til Murmansk.

Norske protester har fået russerne til at undlade testforsøgene. Det betyder, at atomkraftværket, Akademik Lomonosov, der er opbygget på en stor pram, vil blive bugseret hele vejen fra værftet til Murmansk uden radioaktivt materiale om bord.

Først ved ankomsten lades brændstofstængerne i de to reaktorer. Herefter starter testsejladserne. det er stadig ikke sikkert, hvornår det flydende kraftværk forlader værftet i Rusland. Projektet er i flere omgange blevet forsinket af forskellige årsager.
