Erria secures price cut on newbuildings
SHIPPING: Erria has secured a price cut on two chemical tankers being built at Rushan Shipyard in China. The shipping company will pay 3.2m euro less than originally agreed for the two 6,500 DWT vessels.
The delivery of each of the vessels will take place five months later than agreed in the original contract.
In at statement to the Copenhagen Exchange, Erria says that: 'Income from the company's chemical tankers has been rising since the spring, and it is the company's expectation that the market from second half of 2011 will be more normal'.
