The aim of this course is to provide you with an insight into the different styles of leadership and management. You will gain an understanding of some of the core elements of first line management, which can enable you to lead and manage a team effectively.

This course contains information for the safe use of display screen equipment in the workplace and at home. It is suitable for everyone who uses this type of equipment and contains an assessment of the workstation. The assessment will give the user a full understanding of the potential hazards involved and how to assess whether or not they are at risk.

Identify the types of waste generated from industrial and production processes. Identify the purpose of waste management plans. Recognize what constitutes the hierarchical regulatory framework for managing hazardous materials and waste. List the main objectives of the General Law for the Prevention and Integral Management of Waste (LGPGIR). Recognize the primary purpose of the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL).

The aim of this course is to teach you about first aid and bloodborne pathogens, including how they can be controlled, and you will learn to identify who is at risk, and how exposure and transmission occur.

This course provides an overview of the policies and practices that can help to ensure equality and diversity in the workplace. The course also provides knowledge and understanding on the legislation that underpins good practice, and the role that you play to promote fairness and compliance.

The aim of this course is to inform you about the hazards and consequences of drug and alcohol abuse. You will be able to identify different types of addictive substances and the importance of a drug and alcohol policy. You will also be able to describe the purpose of an Employee Assistance Program and how to respond to inappropriate usage.
