Bliv klogere på de danske klimaambitioner

Fredag formiddag mødes repræsentanter fra to af shippingbranchens markante nationer - Singapore og Danmark - virtuelt, for at drøfte grøn omstilling og CO2-reduktioner. Det er muligt at lytte direkte med, det kræver blot tilmelding.

Det er Den danske ambassade i Singapore og SGInnovate, som er arrangør, og fra Danske Rederier deltager Maria Skipper Schwenn, direktør for sikkerhed, miljø og maritim forskning.

”Skibsfarten står over for en kæmpe opgave med at omstille sig til nye brændstoffer og fremdriftsmidler. Vi skal blive endnu bedre til at bruge data som en del af driften og udviklingen af ny teknologi, og her har vi brug for de bedste talenter til at hjælpe os. Samtidig skal vi udnytte den unikke fordel skibsfarten har i IMO som et organ, der kan regulere globalt. Opgaven er få reguleringen til at følge med og skabe incitament for skibsejerne til i endnu højere grad at engagere sig til forskning og udvikling inden for den grønne omstilling af skibsfarten,” siger Maria Skipper Schwenn.

Danmarks ambassadør til Singapore, Sandra Jensen Landi giver de indledende bemærkninger, og Bo Cerup-Simonsen, CEO, Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Centre for Zero Carbon Shipping er herefter første taler.
