APM sælger del af Zeebrugge terminal

China Shipping Terminal har meldt sig som køber til 24 procent af APM Terminals Zeebrugge i Belgien. I forvejen ejer Shanghai International Port Group 25 procent af terminalen, mens de sidste trefjerdedele tilhører APM.

"Vi er meget stolte over, at China Shipping Terminal har så meget tillid til vores forretning. Det her vil med sikkerhed give vores terminal en stærkere position", siger Mark Geilenkirchen, direktør for APM Terminals Zeebrugge, i en pressemeddelelse.

APM Terminals, har underskrevet en hensigtserklæring med kinesiske China Shipping Terminal, der ønsker at købe 24 procent af APM Terminalen i Zeebrugge i Belgien. Transaktionen skal efter planen være afsluttet ved udgangen af juni i år. APM Terminals oplyser ikke noget om de finansielle detaljer ved aftalen.

Shanghai International Port Group ejer allerede 25 procent af terminalen. Efter overtagelsen nedbringes APM Terminals’ andel til 51 procent. Selskabet vil dog fortsat være operatør på terminalen i Zeebrugge.
