A.P. Moller - Maersk appoints new CFO
SHIPPING: Trond Westlie will take up the position as Group CFO of A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S on 1 January 2010. He will also become a member of the Executive Board of the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group.

He has experience from asset intensive industries and has worked with the offshore and energy sectors as well as shipbuilding and the maritime industry. Trond Westlie, 48, comes from a position as Executive Vice President and CFO of Telenor Group, Norway. Before joining Telenor in 2004, he was Executive Vice President and Group CFO of Aker Kværner for a number of years. Trond Westlie brings extensive international experience within business development and in dealing with external stakeholders, combined with strong management skills.
