Aarsleff bygger containerterminal i Nuuk

Den danske entreprenør Per Aarsleff A/S har indgået en aftale med Sikuki Nuuk Harbour A/S om etablering af en ny containerterminal i Nuuk i Grønland. Første fase omfatter indledende planlægning og forberedelser. Den endelige kontrakt forventes indgået i løbet af et par måneder.

Den samlede kontrakt har en værdi på 402 millioner kroner og udføres i totalentreprise. Arbejderne i Nuuk indledes primo marts og forventes afsluttet i november 2016.

Kontrakten indeholder alle arbejder i forbindelse med etablering af den 50.000 kvadratmeter store containerterminal. Arbejderne omfatter blandt andet bortsprængning af 300.000 kubikmeter fast fjeld inden for det nye havneområde, udførelse af 300 meter kajanlæg, etablering af containerplads og uddybning af det nye havnebassin.

Aarsleff har i de seneste fire år haft stigende aktivitet på Grønland, blandt andet med havnebygningsarbejder.
